Recording available for purchase on the Virtual University.
Do you know all of the changes that ISO made to its commercial property policy forms and endorsements? If not—or if you want to brush up on the revisions—check out a webinar now available on the Virtual University.
The two-hour session is available for purchase on the Big “I” recorded webinars page. It is a recording of a webinar held in December 2012.
VU Director Bill Wilson and insurance experts explain policy form changes, which include:
•Coverage for business personal property within 100 feet of described premises.
•The entrusted property exclusion.
•Coverage is now provided for vegetated roofs.
•Additional coverage is now provided for electronic data involved in operating or controlling building equipment.
•A reduction in coverage for newly acquired business personal property at the described premises.
In addition, they also review endorsement changes, such as:
•A new coverage option for secondary locations is being added to the five dependent property BI/EE forms.
•Clarifications in ISO’s flood coverage endorsement effectively broaden coverage slightly.
•A new sewer, drain or sump discharge endorsement; finally, coverage for backing up of roof drains?
•A new endorsement that covers theft of building materials and supplies.
•The business income “ordinary payroll” limitation or exclusion endorsement is being revised to permit various categories of employees.
