‘Meeting the Challenge of Change’ will soon be the only course that qualifies for the credit.
|Effective Oct. 31, only “Meeting the Challenge of Change” materials will qualify for the 10% loss control credit, adherent to the content requirements of both Fireman’s Fund and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
Although the Big “I” Virtual University discontinued new sales of the “Practical Guide to Agency E&O Risk Management” on July 1, a limited number of policyholders might still be in the process of completing that course. In that case, the 10% loss control credit will be honored for completion through Oct. 31 by both carriers.
After that date, the only course that will qualify is the “Meeting the Challenge of Change.”
For state associations interested in continuing to offer an online E&O seminar, ABEN provides two versions of the “Meeting the Challenge of Change” seminar: a six-hour session, and a sequence of two three-hour sessions. For more information about ABEN’s education services, contact Sally Smith at 972-342-4074.
All seminar materials—including CE outlines, student materials and PowerPoint slides—are available by logging in to the E&O Happens website. For consistency, the title of the seminar cannot be changed without the permission of Swiss Re and Big I Advantage®. If you have any problems with this, contact Richard Lund.
